Terms of Service
Effective date: July 12, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the VoiceBrief mobile application, website, AI services, and related features collectively referred to as the “Service.”
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using VoiceBrief, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
About VoiceBrief
VoiceBrief allows users to record audio, create transcripts, generate AI-assisted titles, summaries, and action items, and organize locally stored voice notes.
Some features may require an internet connection, Apple services, third-party AI services, or an active VoiceBrief Pro subscription.
Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
VoiceBrief is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you should use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Free Features
VoiceBrief may provide free access to features including audio recording, playback, transcription, and a limited number of AI operations.
Free-feature limits, allowances, availability, and functionality may change as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or applicable store listing where reasonably appropriate.
VoiceBrief Pro Subscriptions
VoiceBrief Pro provides access to premium features that may include unlimited or expanded AI note generation and other advanced capabilities.
Available subscription options may include:
- VoiceBrief Pro Monthly
- VoiceBrief Pro Yearly
Subscription prices and billing periods are displayed before purchase and may vary by region, currency, taxes, and App Store pricing.
VoiceBrief Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the applicable subscription period.
You can view, change, or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting VoiceBrief does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Refund requests and billing disputes are handled according to Apple’s applicable purchase and refund policies.
AI-Generated Content
VoiceBrief uses artificial intelligence to generate titles, summaries, action items, and other content from transcript text.
AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying generated content before relying on it.
VoiceBrief does not guarantee that AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, available, error-free, or appropriate for your intended use.
Do not rely on VoiceBrief as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, emergency, or other specialized advice.
Your Recordings and Content
You retain ownership of recordings, transcripts, notes, and other content that you create using VoiceBrief.
You grant VoiceBrief and its service providers only the limited rights necessary to process your content and provide the features you request.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right and any necessary consent to record conversations, meetings, or other people. Recording laws vary by location.
Do not use VoiceBrief to record, upload, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful.
Local Storage and Backups
In the current version, audio recordings and saved note data are primarily stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device backups. Removing the app, deleting data, losing the device, resetting the device, or experiencing device failure may result in permanent loss of locally stored content.
VoiceBrief does not guarantee recovery of deleted, damaged, or unavailable recordings or notes.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of VoiceBrief software, branding, or proprietary technology.

This includes damages arising from lost recordings, lost notes, missed action items, inaccurate transcripts, AI-generated content, service interruption, device failure, or loss of data, revenue, profits, or opportunities.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for VoiceBrief during the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoiceBrief and its owner, developers, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.
Termination
You may stop using VoiceBrief at any time.
Access to the Service may be restricted or terminated if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Service, threaten its operation or security, or create legal risk.
Subscription cancellation is handled separately through Apple and may remain effective through the end of the paid billing period.
